1st Annual Hot Competition Live!
Presented by:
The Calgary Academy of Chefs and Cooks and the Canadian Culinary Federation presented two days of intense competition promoting culinary excellence, live on the Alberta Foodservice Expo’s cooking stage. Chefs of all levels, from students to established executive chefs, brought their recipes and ingredients and showcased their skills for judging by a panel of respected culinary professionals.
During this two day extravaganza, competitions will be held in three categories: Apprentice, Professional and Team.

Cooking Stage Serving Dish Sponsor:

Chef Liana Robberecht, Executive Chef of the Calgary Petroleum Club, was host and master of ceremonies for the cooking competitions. She was joined for the Monday sessions by Chef Paul Rogalski, Co-Owner and Chief Culinary Officer of Rouge Restaurant. These two passionate and influential Calgary chefs put the competitors through their paces and shared their many years of culinary experience with the audience.
