Only steps away from the Exhibit Floor, the Expo presented its annual Alberta Foodservice Industry Awards. There are many talented foodservice industry professionals in Alberta and here are the ones that were recognized. The Awards honoured the achievements, leadership and contributions of individuals and organizations working within Alberta’s foodservice industry. Industry colleagues joined together for a spectacular evening of food, drinks, networking, recognition, inspiration and celebration as we announced a number of awards. The Reception was open to all show attendees and exhibitors and we celebrated the winners.
We will be recognizing winners in the following categories:
- Chef of the Year - Andrew Stevens, Vintage Group Inc.
- Supplier of the Year - Kit Abuan, DSL Ltd.
- Junior Chef of the Year - Ryan Baker, Paradise Valley Golf Course
- Server of the Year - Chelsey Belec, The Bothy Wine & Whisky Bar
- Foodservice Establishment of the Year - Corso 32
- Lifetime Achievement
